Using a Raspberry Pi provides an easy, affordable, and flexible way to create a dedicated wireless device for displaying
your dashboard.
You don't need a Raspberry Pi for an external dashboard. Any phone, tablet, TV or PC with a browser works as well. See Any device with a browser.
Before you start, check the supported hardware. Our pre-configured image does not support the Raspberry Pi 5.
Here are three options to set up your Raspberry Pi as a dashboard:
1. Pre-Configured Image
The easiest way to get started is by using our custom pre-configured Raspberry Pi image. This approach allows you to quickly set up your Raspberry Pi as a MoBro dashboard anywhere in your house or apartment.

- Hassle-free setup: Simply flash the image to your Raspberry Pi and you're good to go.
2. Browser Method
Are you already familiar with Raspberry Pi, or do you have one running for another purpose? You can easily use a browser window to display your dashboard.
- Quick and easy: Open your dashboard directly in any web browser.
- No extra setup required: Ideal if you're already comfortable with the Raspberry Pi.
3. USB Connection
Prefer a direct connection instead of using a wireless network? You can connect your Raspberry Pi via USB to your PC. This option works best when using a Raspberry Pi Zero model.
- USB connection: Reliable and simple to set up.
- Compact and cost-effective: A great solution if you own one of the Pi Zero models.
